Benefits of a Living Foods Diet

Living foods are very important for the proper functioning of human bodies. For most part of human existence so far on the face of earth, people ate raw living foods. Cooking foods is a rather recent trend.
 
However, the healthbenefits of cooked foods are lesser in comparison with the health benefits of aliving foods diet. Cooking causes reduced water content in foods and makes digestion difficult by deforming large parts of proteins in food. Large portions of vitamins and minerals are also destroyed by cooking, and the loss of oxygen makes room for free radicals. Enzymes necessary for boosting the immune system,energy production, cellular division and other important chemical reactions could be destroyed when food is cooked at a heat level above 118 degrees.
 
Digestive enzymes and metabolic enzymes are the two types of enzymes in existence. Digestive enzymes are also called food enzymes because of the Creator's infinite Wisdom in putting these enzymes in every food to make their digestion easier. Unfortunately, cooking destroys most of these enzymes making the body work extra hard to produce them.
 
The destruction of the perfect mix of enzymes in foods leads to partially digested foods capable of clogging the arteries and intestinal tract. Benefits of living foods diet are exemplified by the Eskimos who do eat seal and whale blubber; they experience low incidence of stroke, heart disease and high blood pressure.
 
Cooked foods reduce the limited amount of enzymes produced by the body instead of conserving it.Our enzyme activity levels become lesser as we grow since our intake of cooked foods over time depletes our bodies' enzymes reserves. It has also been discovered that the white blood cells, leucocytes, in human bodies treat cooked food as it would a foreign body and also try to eliminate it as soon as possible; something that does not happen with living foods. About half the amount of calories derived from cooked food is used in digesting the same food.
 
Cooked food has been proven to lead to the loss of ability to reproduce, shorter life spans and some congenital abnormalities. What this means is that the health benefits of living foods diet include longevity.
 
Optimal functioningof all cells, organs and systems in the human body is another health benefit of a living foods diet. Living foods diet makes our internal environment conducive for a healthy living.

That was an awesome post!!! Nowadays food is the most important thing for living good and this is the important for human being. Above benefits of a living foods diet description is useful to all.
